For a relatively small community, Jackson Hole, Wyoming represents an amazing variety of art and culture. The town has earned a reputation as a leading cultural center of the Rocky Mountains.
Artist Thomas Moran first came here in the late 1800's. Over the last century, many photographers, painters, sculptors and other artists have found inspiration in Jackson Hole. The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, the Snake River, and the area's rich wildlife and unique western character have been the subject for countless works of art. Jackson Hole boasts over 30 fine art galleries and shops, offering premium quality artwork by numerous local and nationally renowned artists. An exciting schedule of music, dance and theater events take place in Jackson every year.

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival has become a popular annual event. The Festival features visual, performing, and culinary arts, along with Western folk art and Native American art.

Throughout the summer months, The Grand Teton Music Festival puts on 40 concerts ranging from full orchestra and chamber music to themed musical events and concerts for children. Described as "one of the worlds great orchestras", the Festival Orchestra is features professional musicians from all over the country. Concerts take place at Walk Festival in Teton Village, (Jackson Hole Mountain Resort) Tuesday through Saturday nights during June, July, and August.
