Lest you think Village life slows down once the ski season is over, be warned that summer is full of festivals, theatrical performances, antique and art shows, nightly Grand Teton Music Festival symphony orchestra and chamber music concerts, craft fairs, auto shows, mountain bike races, and more. And Grand Teton National Park is less than two miles away. Ten minutes after leaving your house you can chase moose up Granite or Death Canyon.
Teton Village is a great starting point for overnight backpacking trips into the Grand Teton National Park. With more than seven miles of excellent mountain bike trails, bikers have the opportunity to climb terrain both up and downhill. You will also be treated to great hiking trails with colorful wildflowers and abundant wildlife.
Of course life in Teton Village comes at a price. But life in Teton Village - skiing from your home to the lifts, then walking to a massage, and finally heading to a fabulous place for dinner and drinks - and you'll realize living in the Village is worth the premium. Especially when you get to do it all in the relaxed, anything-goes atmosphere that separates Teton Village from peers like Aspen and Vail.
